On 3 April 2016 there is a Rotary Family Fun Day, to be held at the Blue Train in Sea Point.
As part of this project, there will be a Charity Walk on the Sea Point Promenade. All funds raised will be used to take underprivileged children out hiking. These hikes will be guided by members of Rotary and members of Hiking Cape Town hiking club.
The walk will start at 11am from the area between the Lighthouse and the Blue Train project, and will be to the Sea Point Pavilion and back.
Please bring your hat, water, sunblock etc.
Donations in order to walk will be in two categories
Either R200 per person – and will include a T-Shirt
or R100 per person – without a T-Shirt
Alternately, if you wish to support this project, but are willing to donate, then any donation from R50 would be most welcome.
The children will be selected from various children’s homes and / or schools and the money will be used to cover transport and hike permits as well as water and snacks for the hikes.
